    The Test

I’m asking you to leave your world

To listen to the sound of my Heart

    Walk away from the steps

    This is how I’ll know

    If you Love me

As long as you stay in your world

    That damn club

As long as you chose it

    I’ll know

    Where your Heart stands

    Give me your time

    I’m asking for your Love

    Will you chose the Dancer

    Or the Man

Who is it you really want

    I’ll know

    When you chose

    Your world or my Heart

    I wait

    Even hold my breath

    To see

    Where it is you go

I fall asleep to an empty bed

    Candle burnt out

    You never wanted the Man

    Never even made an effort

    To learn who I am

    Hope happiness finds you

Cause it won’t be with me

Can’t bear the site of you

    Angry and used

    I move on

    You were another Dancer

powerful message. to hear the tenderness of a man's heart pouring out like warm syrup on pancakes...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
