The Theif

You have something of mine,
You stole it from me.
You have something dear to me,
I know you took it.
You are a theif.
What you have,
I don't want back.
I've decided you can keep it,
It's yours now,
Just dont break it.
You stole my heart,
take good care of it,
My theif.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
