    the things i'd never say

hidden deep inside r the things i never said
the feelings that i hide-the lines u never read
u can c it in my eyes-and read it on my face
trapped inside r ur lies from the past-nothing can erase
feelings i hold onto, can't just make them go away
     can't forget,look forward,or even finish what i say
emotions turned 2 words only non-sense to listening ears  build up inside for a while, then spill out in angry tears
the past is over & done with, even though the hurting's not
nothing lasts forever-i must cherish what i've got
don't take my love for granted, for soon it may b gone  take all u ever wanted of my love u thought u won
can't just turn my back on u and simply walk away
maybe magically 1 day i'll get over the things i'd never say

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
