The Wonder

The Wonder

Dawn is quite appropriate,
A symbol of new life,
But the cacaphonous sounds
With which the eve is rife;
the whoop of the owl, the beat of the cricket,
the shriek of the shrike-
Give homage to God's creation,
The power in His music of the night.
