    This Barren Road

I walk across this barren road
trying to crack the secret code.
The code to life is very descrete.
I'll walk all day in extreme heat!
If I ever find this ancient code,
never again will I walk this barren road!

Its very good. I would like to see a longer poem from you. I remember when I use write like this it really takes me back and makes me down memory lane. But the poem is very good and very deep. Keep writing.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
