To Eat or Not To Eat...

  • I did not win the contest. But I am still in high hopes and entering a review board. :) Wish me luck!

To Eat or Not To Eat...

As much fun as it is to be stick thin,
I think I'll keep my curves.
And not blow away at every gust of wind.
I'd rather eat away my nerves.

As much fun as it is to wear size zero pants,
I think I'll feel comfortable in a size one
And not be ashamed of a grinding dance.
I'd rather have tons of fun.

As much fun as it is to avoid all scales,
I think I just won't care
And not be afraid to talk to males.
I'd rather for them to stare.

As much fun as it is to always feel empty,
I think I'll get another helping
And not dread about when it's rainy.
I'd rather not worry about melting.

As much fun as it is to be stick thin,
I think that it's not for me
And not something I'd want again.
I'd rather just be who I'm meant to be.

Thanks Emily! It's still hard with the confidence thing. But, other than that, I am gorgeous!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
