To hold on

Life has became some kind of war for power and money
But what if all was taken for the better for all to enjoy
would you dismiss the greed of materialism and fame
or become the victim of selfishness and be your on prisioner
we do not stand alone when you as woman, man,or child
we are the people but not to the earth to our god and our body
for the temple is only what you make of it and to set it on fire
falls only to self...damage beyound looking in the mirror ashame of
what you hide in the closet, when the closet has no walls
but do not threat when you can wear a smile at all times
do not feel lost or misplaced as you live your not alone
my prayers and thoughts are for you to hold on

Your poem is deep

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
