To My Husband
I cried today
And I am not sure why,
The kids are sleeping
And I got things to do
But I can't make myself get up and do them
I just want to be with you
You work so much
And I miss you a lot
I know it is for better
So I lay here and try to write down each thought
If only you knew
Would you stay with me more?
Or would you work just the same
And say that is just the way it has to be?

I guess I just need some time for me
