    To My Precious Children

    To My Precious Children
When a story is finished, do not regret that it is done
For there is a story unheard and a song that is unsung

When you suffer a failure or boast of a win
You will soon find a challenge that has a new end

When a loved one is missing, do not let loneliness win
For you will find a stranger who become a dear friend

When a door closes behind you, do not stand there too long
There are doors opened beyond so you must journey on

When a journey is over, do not believe it is the end
For when something is finished, it is time to begin

So do not cry when I leave you and you cannot see my face
Just believe I am beginning again it some other place

great job on this one. i loved the flow and how it song to me. even the depth of it

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
