Poem Commentary

This poem is for anyone who has known the anguish of losing a loved one, a lover, a best friend, a friend or an acquaintance. Pictures are there to reawaken the memories.
It's ok to look at them!

Today i look at you

Today i look at you

I don't feel no pain and no sadness.

I don't deel that my heart is being teared apart.

I don't feel anger nor guilt.

                               Today i look at you

I remember your face and i smile.

I feel your presence and i know that i am not alone.

I see you looking at me.

                                 Today i look at you

I really look at you again and again. I look at what

remains of you. I look at it, i look at you.

                                  Today i look at you

I look at your picture.

All of us suffer the pain of loss at one time or another. What's important is how we deal with it. Facing your pain through your art communicates your feelings not only to the readers but also to yourself. very good.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
