    Too Close

    A voice
    To it
    A melody of its own
    Came crossing miles
    To my troubled soul
    Enchanting sweet music
    I swam seas to it
    I walked deserts to hear
    Hungry and thirsty
    Happy even in pain
    Not longing for rest
    Guided by its powerful sweetness
    Oh pity
    My naivety
I came too close to it
