    Transparent self

    So much noise...

Loudness and piercing thunder, rolling over

    my ears, disappearing behind memories.

    Quit stillness...

    Striking so deep...

    Stinging silence...

    The unapproachable pause...

    Fight out...

Cup the flame of silent screams.

Set down the slippery hands of

    unsettled past.

    Snatch the glazed sight.

    Bring on the icy emotional

    state of mind.

    Transparent self...

    Seen by mirror images.

    Cast down...

    Loath, dispraise...

    Touch.

    Distance brings harmony from

    the depths of darkened

    Hate.

wow...this is an amazingly written piece. in fact to me it is perfect. okay so you are an incredible writer, now all you need to do is get yourself published if you aren't already because a talent such as yours should be shared with those that dream and cannot write poetry but feel it through you. major smiles for finding your work!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
