Traveling on the Peaceful Lane
Having lived through years of war
This writer's had ENOUGH - NO MORE!
War is hell as many say
Life reveals a better way
REFUSE to give your time to force
Instead use reason to endorse
Constructive thought and action kind
Participate in healing find
That people will respect your deed
All work together - fill a need
A human being needs respect
And ample time to self-reflect
Why build bombs and guns and tanks?
When making these just fills the banks
A thoughtful job is one that makes
GOOD JOBS for folks for heaven's sakes
And not for war and hell and death
Depriving ALL of life and breath
INSTEAD OF USING FORCE TO GAIN
LET'S TRAVEL ON THE PEACEFUL LANE!
