    true heart

to suffer the to's and fro's to dull
to live and breath to forsake it all

nay, put away thy squirrely nature
and be thyself in thy natural pleasure

to hell with that which may come
and establish thy true heart as home

to live and die with good desire
and think nothing of the coming fire

'tis easy to say and hard to don
to do as thou wilt and the devil be gone

oh that i would take up this plea
that in my bidding foul fears might flee

to float though life without a care
and find the secret nugget awaiting there

to be oneself and nothing more
right and wrong be damned for evermore

I like the poem interesting view. May I ask, what prompted this poem? my favorite line is: 'tis easy to say and hard to don to do as thou wilt and the devil be gone. I am new to this site, and excited that it's for poets.
