Truths
Here we are once again
In the place that we began
Our love grows stronger
As our yearning grows longer
Foot holes placed mark paths before us
Mapping our lives to be lived within us
Time can only tell what days we will behold
As our journey unravels
And our stories unfold
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
