    Unraveled

    I was fine, snuggled-fitly together
Assured that you were out of my system-
That you no longer ran warm in my veins
Peaceful it seemed, nights of uninterrupted sleep
Days of completed tasks and unsolicited accolades

But I heard your voice; I saw your smile
One whiff of your enchanting cologne
One look into your mysterious eyes

    Now I am unraveled!

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
