    Until You Go

Death is the bullet that whizzes past my head
As I look forward it passes me and creates more dead
Because in war, to kill another is the only way
Because in war you never win, you only have a better day
Because I am the carrier of the knife
Because I am the one who cuts the throat of my enemies’ innocent child and wife
It isn’t who is the smartest or toughest of the crew
It’s whose not afraid to die, that makes it threw
Fuck what you thought when you entered this fight
Fuck you if you thought you would be able to sleep at night
Because in the end, when you wake up in that cold, cold sweat
It’s the man next to you, whose life you are willing to bet
Tuck your baby in and kiss her goodnight
Because tomorrow it’s war, back to the fight
