    untitled 2

    His sun warms her heart
The kindness and respect beaming from his pale blue eyes
Is what she has always dreamed of
His touch never too warm or too cold
She has given up everything to be with him
    But...
    He becomes a mystery
    Changing so quickly
    It struck without a warning
She didn't see those dark clouds forming behind his eyes
His voice, a thunderous roar in her ears
    Yelling how useless she is
She feels his wind slap her
Photographs of the two of them crash to the floor
And her tears fall like rain
Hopelessness and desperation fill her every thought
She's drowning in emotion and she cannot reach the shore
    Can she survive another storm?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
