Vet's

The Veteran's,past and present'
They have all"paid their dues"
Having fought in many "Wars"
To protect folks"like me and you.
This "War' is like a sponge'
Like an ever growing "disease"
And the more that you feed it'
The less"the government is pleased"
"Our soldier's" they all suffer,
And some do more that other's'
But we always "pray together"
Because all Vet's "are like brother's.
Be they Males' and also females,
Our enemies"alway's kill all"
Bullet's don't discriminate ever"
War's" will always"be our downfall'
Let's pray for our fallen "Soldier's"
In this land' or "Over Seas"
And remember them with much "Love"
For they died' to keep us free.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
