    Wait For It

    There are things to say
There are times to say them
    There are events unfolding

Sadness reigns in the hour of vindication

The day is not yet over
The wheel is not yet finished turning
The best is yet to come

Why must beautiful ideas be so delicate and so ephemeral

There is strength in the silence
    There is truth in strength
    There is peace in truth

But silence equals death, which I hear is very peaceful

For the sake of the future
For love of that which was
    For faith in ideals

I shall place mine hand upon my mouth and I shall not speak

    Yet

(In the fervent hope that there is something to pull from the flames when it is all over... Don't turn away... Don't let go of the good... Don't lose hope... Wait for it...)

This is a well crafted piece. However, it's rhythm and general cosmettics would be greatly improved by punctuation, The philosopy of patience ,"Wait For It," is well sutained throughout by the epigramatic power of the first line of each stanza. I suggest that Malakki rewrite the last two lines of this poem, He has marred the perfection of the poem by becoming prosaic. He ought to convert those sentences into the poetic formatof the preceding stanzas, On the whole a pleasant piece of didactic poetry. My rating would have been a full 10, if had maintained his poetic mode throughout the entire poem.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
