Walking On The Sand

I was on the beach walking in the sand, thanking about the pain I was going through. As I walk tear began to fill my cry and seem like I couldn't stop crying.
the faster as I walk tears ran down my face. I looked up toward heaven and began to say "Father can you hear me!!! Am calling on your name, Please bring my soul out of trouble.

I fell on my knees and looked behind there was foot prints behind me and I could feel my tears drying up and joy came over me. He said Cheryl! I been with you the hold time, but you never look back the closer I got to you the faster you walk.  My present have been with always.

All you had to do was STOP, LOOK! Listen! to hear my voice. He said trouble don't last always, Joy comes in the morning. I put some of the sand in a jar and said I will keep this with me always, because you are always with me and you never leave me alone.  When am down, trouble, you are always near.

All I have to do is call on your sweet night, late in the night, in the day, your line is never busy. You are on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. you are there.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
