    war on the land

    Those men up there
    they said it would stop
    but all I see
    are the bombs they drop.

    they fight over me
    but do they realise?
    what they are doing
    too speed there demise.

    there are two sides
    trying to kill
    while people cry
    over blood they spill

    there religions speaks of peace
    they do not know
    that peace does not involve
    the bombs they throw

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
