    Welcome

We fussed in a quiet way avoiding the headaches of yesterdays.
Scopping and digging for truthful elements.
Embedded in the fabric of life's lining.
    Where did we go wrong?
Allow me the time to make things right.
Open love's door to your heart!
    Let us reason peacefully together.
I welcome your desire to want me again.
    I'll do better this time!
Remember I love you still and welcome you always.
    Even when you may think...
    There's no need.

Very nice. Makes me think of my poem No Longer. When the flame dies, It's hard to accept. But, sooner or later we realize we have to move on. TS

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
