    what kind of man...

What kind of man would I be
    If I didn’t have you
What kind of love would I know
    If our love wasn’t true
    How could my heart beat
    Without yours beating too
What kind of man would I be
    If I didn’t have you

What kind of life would I live
If you weren’t by my side
    What vision would I see
If you didn’t fill my eyes
    How hollow would I be
    Without your love inside
What kind of life would I live
If you weren’t by my side

What kind of person would I raise
If you blessed me with a child
What example would I prove to be
If I you weren’t my morning smile
How would I reach the stars
    without you finding me worthwhile
What kind of person would I raise
If you blessed me with a child

What kind of man would I be
If you weren’t here to mold me
What kind of love would I know
If you weren’t here to hold me
How would I know what true love is
    Without you to show me

What kind of man would I be…

    :)

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
