    What you see

    Look at us now,
    You'll see the love.
    Look at us later,
    You'll see the pain.
They say we're a perfect couple,
But they don't see the scars.
They say we're meant to be,
But they don't see the tears.
    People only see the good,
    I just see the bad.
    People say I'm so lucky,
    Inside I just cry.
    Look at us now,
    You'll see the love.
    Look at us later,
    You'll see the pain.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
