    While Among the Stars

    While Among the Stars

I always knew I was an orphan of the stars,
Because very far from this world of ours,
Is born into every soul futures to desire,
That come from their burning hearts of fire.

Suddenly all the clouds around seemed to flee,
And wondrous dreams were revealed to me.
Then every good thing that will ever be,
Was brought to where I could easily see.
The sun was shining on such a fair day,
So I became more content while on my way.
As joy gripped my heart I could only say,
Please never let these things go away.
My days were a brighter shade of blue,
Because every flower that I could view was new,
And lilacs in the garden and roses on the wall,
Brought a kind of refreshment to us all.
But just when all these blessings filled my cup,
Suddenly from this dream, I woke up.

    All in our dreams

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
