Who Am I?

Who Am I?

I am the jack of all trades

Master of none

I am the Black Panther

Creeping through your neck of the woods

My people have been oppressed for centuries

I often wonder who created this mystery

Sequels of stories appearing one after the other

About Devils invading the mission of Angels

From a long way back, we’ve come

To learn of a history we were never told

To regain our heritage, strong and bold

Just to get an understanding before I turn old

I am Black and I’m proud

I’m as strong as an ox

I see from whence I came

And I know where I’ve gone

Who am I?

it's great to know and see a young black male , proud of who he is ... i love this poem indeed, in and out of time .

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
