Who Calms the Storm

Who Calms the Storm

Who Calms the Storm?
Who calms the storm and calm the raging sea?
Who calms the storms of Life that blows inside of me.
You are the Son of God.
You'll the one I'm thinking of.
You'll calm the storm and calm the raging seas.
When Life dealts you a blow that you can't bear.
You are the one who's always there.
For you're the Master of the Sea,
You're the one that speaks in me,
and say "Peace be Still," the winds obey your will.
Sometimes when I'm alone and in despair.
You are the one who truly cares.
If I only just believe, in your Word I will receive.
just what I say If only I say yes.
You are the Master of the Sea,
You are the one who speaks in me,
and say "Peace be Still," the winds obey your will.
Who calms the storm and calms the raging sea?

Yes if only we could embrace the fact the God calms those storms for us. All we really have to do is take position like Joshua and let God fight our battles for us.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.

Walt Whitman, American Poet (1819-1892)
