    With Me

Try to remember the nights wasted, following the horizon.

Chasing down dreams, captivated in the moment.

If we really are nothing but specks trapped in a perpetual seaspool ever

destined to graze each other never reaching full potential,

Then how is it that Nirvana seems so close at hand,

    Every waking moment?

Attainable yet, like the stars light we gladly let into our souls for an

         instant of bliss.

Fly with me to the outer reaches of the Universe.

    Comingled exsitence, yet conversly seperated.

Bound to each other in idle stagnancy.

Run with me to the ends of the Earth,

Fall victim to the Siren's song within you.

Listen with me, in awe, to the silent wonder of your heart to my beat.

Take solice in the wings of freedom,

As they beat in harmony with the sound of the pouring rain outside the

         walls that contain us.

Let it wash away what came before,

    Your untapped anger and pain.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
