    With You I Walk

I ask myself what should I do? Trying to make it in this crazy life I live though.
Once again I hide the pain;Behind the tears its always the same.
As I close my eyes to clear my head,That's when I heard the words he said.
Footprints in the sand; I want you to see, BECAUSE one is for you the other is for me!
Your journey in life is not you're own; With me by your side you are never alone.
Bring things in life to me my child; Take a break and let yourself SMILE!
That's when I felt him hug me near, I could feel his hand wipe away the tear.
Finding myself with a warm peace inside; NO tears or pain do I have to hide!
Step by step I walk this land; Putting my life in the LORDS mighty hand!
Faith I have and how it fills me; All because CHRIST DIED to set me free

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
