WOLVES

Can you hear the howling wolf at your door?
He is hungry for your tender kiss
He cries your name so late at night
To whisper deep in your dreams
Can you feel the heat from his breath as he prowls?
He stalks you as his prey
Loving the taste of you his favorite meal
Do you hear the silent steps he takes?
Each movement slow and cautious
Can you hear your heart beating faster?
As you know you are caught in his gaze
His dark eyes stare at you
His mouth waters for you
Do you feel the bite from him?
As his teeth sink deep into your flesh
His touch so light but firm
You are his love
You are his hunger
You are the moon to his eyes
Always howling out your name
You are his prey and his huntress
As you are stalking him
With each passing day
The satisfaction of knowing
He brings out the animal in you
Freeing your wild nature
Come out my sweet and run with me
Let us be wolves lost in the night
Let us shed our human flesh and run
Run under the night

I like that one.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
