    Won't Take My Pain Away

    As I rise every morning,
and wipe the cold out my eyes
    I thank God I'm alive
    to see the beautiful sunshine
I don't know how to start my day
    lighting a cigarette,
    looking for the ashtray
    won't take my pain away
    layin alone at night
    looking left and looking right
    wishing someone was there
    to hold me tight
    won't take the pain away
    pretending to be happy
    when I'm down
smiling when theres really a frown
looking for someone to talk to,
    but there's no one around.
definitely won't take this pain away..

I know this feelin...and it hurts...good writing and i feel the emotions in the poem.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
