    WristCutter

    My heart beats fast
    a minute has past
    waiting for your reply
    either i do or die
    your reply is simply no
    my beating heart dies slow
    i break down and cry
for you have left me to die
my love for you was real
    everyday together brought thrill
    if parties didn't exist
i wouldn't have reasons to cut my wrist

Wow.....this was really deep.....I wonder if its true or not.....If it is you shouldnt cut yourself for some guy (or girl, whoever this is about) Never give someone that much power over you. I wrote a poem similar to this called Bleed but I am not a cutter. Nice poem

I know what you are feeling. I am 36 and go through those feelings all the time. But you know what... we are wrong to feel that way. We should never give another person that much power that they can determine whether we are happy or not. If they want someone else, oh well. If they were here wishing they were somewhere else, then everyone would be miserable. The truth is, it does get better, and you will find someone that you will love even more than the one you thought you just couldn't live without.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
