    you and me

somehow I really can't but realize
    somewhat
    that life is too rich
    much, perhaps
    for living too full.
    excited smile, loving you, explains?

    no. but it all remains.
and you and me we know together something.
    nevermind, but I care, unvocalized,
merely waiting, with finger crossed, tight eyed purview,
    willing you to see beyond
    all this important nonetheless.

Very strange and purposefully a difficult wordage which gives it a rare disjointed eloquence...you know?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
