    you did this to me

You sit on the couch and play with the uncle
    I come and sit down
you try and play with me
I fight back and say no as the uncle leaves
he knows whats about to happen but he leaves me there
    I run for the door
you run after and push me on the floor
you grab my shirt and try to take it off
a cousin comes in and says he is going to tell
but you don't care you keep going
I try to fight back I try to scream
    but I cant...
your holding me down hurting me
    tears fall down my cheek
    because I have no strength.
    I look up
    I see a knife
I reach to grab it but I grab something else
    I beat you with it
    I got loose and ran
and I never told a soul.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
