    Poem Commentary

A combo I was writing a song and was reviewing one of my other poems and put some of the words from both together they seem to fit better as this one poem.

    You Love Me!

In my longing I waited and watched for you.
In my sorrow I hoped and desired your comfort
And you came to me without questioning me
    nor did you judge me.
In my joyous moment I danced and kissed your heart,
you embraced me and over whelming love surrounded me.
My love for you is blinded by the brightness of your heart your love is never ending over flowing
I don't ask why you love me.
I am moved with compassion for love has over whelmed me and triggered something so deep
within I knew not that it was there
as water drawn from a deep well so pure
       and refreshing
      You Love Me!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
