187

He's telling me how much he wants to die,
and how the world is never on his side,
he asked me to gaze into his eyes,
do you see what I see?
a soul in dispair,
a person who just doesn't care,
life just isn't fair,
he began to stare,
he ran his fingers through my hair,
he looked into my eyes,
he began to cry,
his hands were shaky,
he reached to the side,
grabbed a gun and said goodbye,
pulled the trigger and watched me die,
all because I was gonna leave him for that other guy.

Reminds me of the video for "Who's Gonna Save My Soul". by Gnarls Barkley. Check it out see if it's close. Good Read.

Very nice read and I liked the twist at the end. I would suggest a different title, so as not to give away the surprise?
