    A Clouded Mind

    So Red!
Darkened by the gray streets of madness."
    Fire! coming from a barrel,
    Full of black powder,
    White! Filled with addiction,
That needs a twelve step program,
    To combat Christmas.
Gone into a casket my dear friend,
Ashes to never rise no more,
Until the day of the new Jerusalem.

    Puddles and puddles of redness!
Like the eyes full of LSD,
    Lies!
    Satan and destruction!
    Soon to be cleansed
    By the Holy Lamb.

Slain! for the sins of this world.
Now all I see is blue.

    Thank you Father God,
    For seeing me through
    This clouded mind.

I enjoyed this poem, such a vivid look into a clouded mind. Good job.

Thank you my brother for the compliment. God Bless.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
