    A Dedication To Hell

These blank white walls, they glare at you,
They scruntize everything you try to do,
The drab gray steel slices through your very soul,
You strive with all your energy to remain whole,
The constant noise echos in your ears,
    Never ending silence, never near.

All your days you try to sleep and keep your fears subdued,
But some ones anger seems to be always aimed at you,
Myraid personalities, space to small to move,
Too many, far too often, simply push and shove,
They say we all deserve this hell for the passions we commit,
All we want is our day in court, until we only sit.

Some of us are guilty, some still claim our innocence,
Stories, opinions, and rules, this system retains no sence.

I hear the screams of pain and fears echo in the night,
But the cold gray steel holds you here, and the deadly grip is tight.

shows anguish, yet a good work, sometimes when we grieve we get disjointed in our spirit and it affects our outlook.

Thank you for reading what I have posted. and thank you for your advice.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
