    Poem Commentary

I was sitting at our local park last fall and this is what I saw.

    A Fall Day

Dappled sunlight resting on leaf strewn dirt

The wind and leaves dance and flirt

A blue jay playing among cold leafless limbs

Two crows conversing as warm sunlight dims

A squirrel strolling cautiously down and around

Searching for acorns left on the ground

White caps waving as they race to the shore

Who could ask for anything more?
