  • SOLAR SYSTEM The sun is in heaven beyond. The moon awakes elsewhere. The stars receive their light. Maybe to fall to earth in our sight. The other planets are not our lights. They are like the watchers. On a pale, blue night. Brenda G Radford Copyright ©2008 Brenda G Radford

A HALLOWEEN POEM/PRAYER

Trick or treat day is approaching

The moments are going by

Like breaths from our bodies

We breath the breath of life

Or would God save our life?

The creator of the breath of life

The one who said depart from strife

To have more of the breaths of life

Without the horribleness of strife

And have a longer happier life

More abuntantly do we have life?

In the name of Jesus Christ

I pray to have a life.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
