A house not a Home

I sit in my bed sheets over my head the words you said echoes in my head.
these walls are thin I hear all that’s within
he yells
you weep
I try to sleep
A crash
a quake
suddenly I’m a wake
I fear for you and for myself too
divorce it hurts but here it lurks
must face the truth must be strong
hold chin high keep going move on
maybe separation is not such a bad thought even though happiness and love is what I sought
I love you mom
I love you dad but you lost the love that you two once had

Thank you for reminding me how important it is to shelter my children from my own problems.

do not shelter them so much but talk to them and explan whats going on but do not bring problems that has nothing to do with them around them if that makes sense

I'm sorry that you have to witness and suffer through this thing but it is not your fight. Your life has like you said has to go on and I know that you will do the right thing. May God keep you and hold you close in all of this and keep your head up lil Sis, Oh and thanks for the comments

THANK YOU=]
