    A Letter

    When words aren’t enough
When you have heard every line in the book
How can I make you believe
That your worth more then my life
You mean the world to me Charles
And I don’t know what it will take
    To make you understand
That my words are the truth
I want you in my life
    You haunt my dreams
    You live in my reality
And I carry you in my heart
But I want more then just
    You and just me
I want it to be WE
How can I explain that my life without you
    Would be incomplete
    I know that sounds cliché
But it’s the truth that’s in me deep
    You give me strength
You helped me believe in love again
You showed me that there is more to this
    Then just great sex
    There is love and friendship,
    Caring and honesty
    You saw through me
When everyone else saw my mask
    You never perpetrated
    You are always real
I want to give you strength
I want to give you everything
I want to be the one makes sure
No one hurts you ever again
I want to spend the rest of my life with you
    I want to keep you
    And be with you

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
