    A lonely girl's wish

    Flowers and candy
    Good night hugs
    Stares filled with longing
    Words filled with love
    Calls in the morning
To hope for a wonderful day
    Calls before bed
    Just to hear him say…
I love you when the sun’s out
    When the clouds turn gray
I love you when it’s windy
    And on a rainy day
I love you when you’re crying
    Make-up streaming down your cheek
I love it when you kiss me
When you’re near it makes me weak
When you’re angry and you’re yelling
    And your brow becomes firm
I love you in these moments
It’s in these moments when I learn
You’re more to me than light
That leads the way when I can’t see
You’re more to me than air
That aids me so I can breathe
    You are my second half
A part of my soul is yours
    Your aura is infectious
    You’re a habit I don’t want to cure
I want to be with you forever
As long as the mountains are steep
I want to hold you in my arms
Because with you my life’s complete

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
