A MOTHER'S DAY GREETING CARD
Although our lives went different waysso many years ago,
I always knew this day would come
A time when you would grow.
And now my little girl's a mom
so young but very smart,
And though you've given me grey hair
the years we've been apart.
I'm proud of you "my little girl"
for all that you have done,
for everything you've given me
and now a cute grandson.
So full of life and full of joy,
A smile that makes me smile.
I only wish I could be there
if only for a while.
So with this little greeting card
That's sent from miles away,
to let you know you're thought of too
this Special Holiday.
