Another year will come to pass
as you turn 17.
I only wish that you could see
the things that I have seen.
I know what you've been going through
and I hope that you know...
Alot of people care for you
although it may not show.
I'm hoping I could cheer you up
with just a little card,
cause if I could I would do more
but times are really hard.
So on this special time of year
when God blessed me with you;
My little girl that's growing up,
that has my fat nose too.
A little smile upon your face
is what I hope to see,
and knowing that I put it there
would mean the world to me.
