    A New Start

Sometimes we leave the old behind

    To create a new start

    To begin again brand new

Or maybe to mend a broken heart.

This can be hard to do

But at times, it has to be done.

At the end of the day

You have to look out, for number one.

    But if you have children

Your number one goes their way

    The innocence of innocence

    They will understand one day.

But a new start is a good thing

    Because you just never know

Who, or what is around the corner

    And then, its all go.

So even though we may mourn

The loss of a heart broken history

Let fate guide you into your future

And help you create a new memory.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
