    Apple Tree

    With your abundance of fruit
    You stand glorious and bold
    Through all types of weather
    You protect and tether
    As our days unfold.

    Where are your apples?
    Your branches are bare
    Leaves are turning brown
    Falling to the ground
    Your apples are nowhere.

    Are you dying?
    Is your life fading away?
Your skeleton is all I see
Is that how it’s gonna be?
    Please no, not today.

    I don’t believe my eyes
Your branch has a green spot
For so long you have died
All the tears I have cried
    No more, all is forgot.

    Look at your beauty
    What a message you give
From birth, is life and then
    Death and rebirth again
Eternally, is how we all live.
