    A SEED OF ABRAHAM

A seed of Abraham, that's who I am
Father of the nation, an original black man.
Here I stand with my children by my side
They're the apple of my eyes, the object of my pride.
As they grow I care for them, love them, protect them
Making sure their needs are met, for these are my children.
Teaching them the morals that were instilled in me
Their roots, their foundation, their originality.
African love from the black side, African beauty
True Kings, true Queens, they're true royalty.
Loving oneself for you are who you are
Chasing your goals and your dreams, reaching for that star.
Never giving up hope, always aspiring
Never losing your drive, always uprising.
Leaving all ignorance and arrogance behind
Choosing wisdom and knowledge, understanding your climb.
When reaching for the top, all your fears you shed them
All these gifts I have to give, for these are my children.

The keys on my key board are balck and the letters white, yet these colors are compared with those of people , this i do not understand. i have children too and i hope they have hope and never give up. they are neither black nor white, i like to call them browneach:)

I'm a man who is very proud of his heritage and would above all things, appreciate it if my kids would embrace their culture as much as i do. I thank you for your comments and i agree with your views. But the fact remains that I am a blackman, and i am viewed as such by society on a majority. I am even discriminated against because of this fact.. Knowing this, i cherish who i am even more.. As previously stated i agree with your views but i also LOVE my heritage.. thanks again.. have a blessed day..
