    A Sunny Day

    When I look outside
    on a sunny day
    upon the sun's
    benevolent rays,

    I see a sun
    that is so far
    yet it is here
    where we are.

    I see benevolent
    rays of light
    that leaves darkness
    in its plight.

    On sunny days
    I like to run
    and work outside
    and have fun.

    But the thing I love
    most of all
    is time with my family
    one and all.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
